My First Two Weeks at Covenant University

 

After passing different exams, such as WAEC, JAMB, and CUSAS, I got admitted into Covenant University, the best University in Nigeria, and West Africa. It was a source of pride because I knew I would get the best academic and spiritual upbringing any school could ever offer. 

 

During my first two weeks at Covenant University, I encountered various challenges that I had to overcome. However, I also had numerous opportunities to learn and gain insights as well.

 

First, at Covenant University, adapting to the academic culture was challenging during my first two weeks. The curriculum was rigorous. I had to adhere to their strict rules and regulations regarding attendance for lectures, chapel services, and roll calls. Also, we always had to be on a particular dress code throughout the week, which was uncomfortable, but I had to find a way to adapt.

 

Second, during my orientation, I was exposed to various skills that Covenant University offers which serve as a platform to enhance skills in areas of communication, leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship. In addition, I was also connected with academic advisers who can inspire and support you.

 

Third, within my first two weeks, Covenant University has shown spirituality as one of her major core values. Furthermore, the University has instilled in me the principles and values of Christianity, such as love, integrity, honesty, humility and service. 

 

In conclusion, my first two weeks at Covenant University have been a remarkable and memorable experience. I have faced some challenges, but I have also enjoyed many opportunities and insights.
